Vermont: August 2014.
Pulling into the state of Vermont, we headed straight up to the city of Burlington. We have been waiting a long time to come here as it is a favorite by many of our friends.

After we woke up in Erie, PA we decided to start making our way up the coast into New York. After all, we are already pretty drenched from the lightning storm last night. We might as well make our way over to Niagara Falls. As fans of lighthouses, when we Read more…
As we made our way out of Michigan, we continued our way east into the state of Ohio. Last time we came through here, we were headed south to see the Airstream factory in Jackson Center. This time, we are sticking along the coast of Lake Erie. We’re now back Read more…
A couple of years ago, I decided to try uploading a video a day during our travels. At the time, there were a lot of reasons why it was difficult to sustain. I did not have enough data bandwidth to upload the videos without blowing my monthly limit. The style Read more…
I’ve only done a few product reviews in the past mainly because we are so behind on our travel posts. As we are trying to catch up, I wanted to share a new Dell Android tablet we got from Intel to review and some of our favorite mobile apps for it.

Heading south across Makinac bridge, we have come back to one of our favorite areas from our cross country trip in 2013. The Lower Michigan Peninsula – AKA, ‘The Mitten’. First item on the agenda, look for a place for the night. We had just recently decided to give Harvest Read more…
From Superior, Wisconsin, we quickly made our way into Michigan. The upper peninsula, or the ‘Yoo-Pee’, is where we will be exploring for awhile. We’ve only been to the lower peninsula of Michigan and loved it so this is a very exciting place for us to visit on this trip. Read more…
From Tettegouche State Park, we skidded along the shore of Lake Superior and found our way into Wisconsin just east of Duluth. The town across the border is Superior, Wisconsin and we make camp for the night at a Walmart.
North Dakota is the first one of a few states that we are visiting for the first time with our Airstream. It is really exciting to be venturing into new territory for us which hasn’t happened for a couple of years.
We left the Works family as we headed north into Montana along Interstate 15 heading towards Butte. As we did some research, we found that there was yet another awesome ghost town near the town of Dillon that seemed like a must see. As we are suckers for ghost towns, we could not pass it up.
On our way out of Oregon, we tried long and hard to figure out how we can make it out to Hell’s Canyon National Recreation Area in Idaho without adding a ton of miles to our travels. After a lot of research, we decided that it was not meant to be this time around. We found questionable cell reception at the campgrounds and the trip would likely have added several days to our visit. After all, we are not on vacation, this is our real day-to-day life and sacrifices are the norm.
