Episode 1: Silver City Ghost Town

by dan on November 11th, 2008

Welcome to our first of many video episodes from our road trips. This one is from our trip to Lake Isabella, CA where we visited Silver City Ghost Town in Bodfish, CA. The buildings in this little ghost town did not originally reside here. Rather the owner of this little snapshot-in-time museum have moved them here from various parts of Kern county. Visit their site if you are interested in reading more about it.

over and out,
dan

I know Dan said he wanted to see more videos on Wanderful. We’ve finally invested in a good camera and those will be coming soon. I love all these road trip blogs I’ve been connecting with. We’re meeting with Erik & Nathan today from T@bstream travels.

FYI, it’s all your faults with your damn Airstream, that I am not wishing we had one of our own. Perhaps in the future. Wanda the T@B is feeling smaller and smaller everyday.

I’m glad to know that you guys made it in to civilization in one piece. I’ve been reading t@bstream as well and they were kind to have linked my old t@b blog (sponsormyvan.com) from theirs without me ever asking. Have fun in San Francisco and we look forward to see you guys when you come to SoCal.

BTW, I do love having all the space and amenities in the Airstream, but I do miss being able to park anywhere and move it around with just my two bare hands!
