Day 86: Spending the whole day in pajamas in Louisville.

Today was spent all in day in our pajamas. Every single one of us. Well, not the dogs but I’m sure they would have if they could. Today is my fourth day with a sore throat and I am throwing in the towel.

It sucks being sick but at least it happened out of the Airstream. Being in a house is a little easier when sickness happens because kids are not piled on top of me all day. I got to close to door and take a nap… with Luka.

Dan got to hunker down again and get some work done.

Mila was a little bored so I gave her some Halloween decorations that my mom sent in the mail to put up around Carrie’s house.

Maybe I shouldn’t have put a 3 year old in charge of spelling trick-or-treat by herself. Orrticketrta!! Close enough, Mila! Haha.

We have been pushing ourselves a little bit to get out and do things. So it was actually nice to just chill for the day and hopefully recuperate. And yes, there was a lot of TV watching today.

Carrie is our ghost loving friend. She has built quiet the collection of books on the subject. I was very curious to hear from our 3 year old ghost spotting kid if she would see any spirits in Carrie’s 1891 home, but luckily (or unluckily) for Carrie, Mila did not spot any during our stay.

It seems like the rain from yesterday has sped up the falling of the leaves today. The city looks like a beautiful mess.

And I am glad that I am not in charge of raking up all the leaves around here.

Darla’s in charge of that! Haha.
