The vintage trailer show was full of amazing trailers. Some more so than others. The 1960 Holiday House is pretty close to the top of that list. It is not an Airstream nor does it have any Airstream lineage but it is immaculately restored with some amazing features.

The Holiday House’s style is very typical of the 1950s and 60s with its boxy exterior, metal siding and louver windows. It has huge wrap around windows in the front that gives it amazing views from inside.

Ava likes the magical reflections they make. Mama look! I have 2 heads!

The interior is modernized while still keeping a look that calls back to the era when these were originally made.

The squared off corners on these trailers gives it a tremendous amount of space that you typically don’t find in Airstreams. The owner of this Holiday House kicked up the 1960s motif with a nice record collection mounted on the wall above the couch.

As great as those records look on the wall, they are no match against the versatility of the iPod that is pumping the tunes through the custom stereo system of this gem of a vintage trailer.

over and out,

Hi Tiffany, there were probably 15-20 trailers there at the show which was in Palm Springs a couple weekend ago. The Bowlus and Holiday House were definitely some of the best ones there. They were mostly Airstreams with a few other makes mixed in. Some of them were really rare and unique.

thanks dan!
I (for some reason) thought your trip to Palm Springs was for one thing and the vintage trailer show was separate.. thanks for sharing the great photos!

Your Holiday pics are great but where would you get the outer metal to give it that great look.
