We have been living on the road for the last 18 years. In that time, we have visited 53 countries on 5 continents. Sampling food from all across the United States and all over the world.
In all of our overland travels, people have always asked us about the kind of meals we make on the road. And here we are, finally putting together a channel dedicated to showing you the kind of foods we cook and eat as we make our way across the world.
Being a family of 5, we don’t always eat at restaurants, as it can get quite expensive. We also often find ourselves in far away places, missing our comfort foods from hom,e so we also try to make them ourselves using whatever local ingredients we can find while taking inspirations from what the locals eat.
So in this first episode, we are back in North America camping on the beaches of Baja California, Mexico making one of our favorite breakfast dishes. Chilaquiles Verdes. As usually, we don’t have all of the perfect ingredients to make it as traditional as we would like, but that is how this series will show you all of the things we do to make it work with what we have.
