Headed out from the wetlands to a proper sandy beach today. But before we do, we need to empty our tanks and refill our fresh water. Lucky for us, Spain makes it easy with these free RV stations.
Drove through the city of Valencia and found ourselves a sandy beach to wild camp on for a few days.
Dan immediately tilted the solar panels and the kids into the water and sand.
Dan catching up videos on his stand up desk AKA our Dometic CFX3 fridge.
The beaches here really got hit by the last storm. It’s covered with huge buoys, dead fish and onions. Yes onions. Someone’s garden must have gotten washed away.
The kids decided to dig holes and bury all the fish. Headstones included.
Look at this cotton candy sunset.
And the fiery one directly behind us.
We built out our DIY Sprinter van in San Pedro, California and almost two years later, we drive through San Pedro del Pintar in Spain. These kind of things make me smile.
We made a quick overnight stop at a free parking lot at another wetland park.
Up bright and early to bird watch. Who am I kidding?!?! We never wake up early. Slow mornings for the win!
More flamingos. Never get tired at looking for them.
Filling up our three 6-gallon jugs of fresh water.
Flamingos in front of us.
And mounds of salt behind us.
Time to pack up and head south again.
No video from Dan this time. But here is my little one from IG stories.
Thanks for following along,
Marlene
