We got this camera initially as a second ‘B’ camera for the vlog. But shortly after we got it, it became Marlene’s go-to camera for everything. It has a great F1.8-2.8 aperture and beautifully rendered images and videos, I could not wrangle it away from her once she got a look at what it produces. It has been a popular camera for vloggers for a long time and it has only recently been succeeded by the the Mark III. We love this camera and it is the one that takes nearly all of the photos for our Instagram posts and the videos for our stories. Because she loves it so much, I also get lots of great B-roll in my vlogs from the videos she takes.
