That comes to a grand total of $1.82.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"32009866067\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.static.flickr.com\/7827\/32009866067_0c8f9a373f_c.jpg\" alt=\"Driving to and exploring Durr\u00ebs, Albania blog.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Durr\u00ebs Amphitheater was built in the 2nd century BCE and is the largest one found in the Balkans, seating close to 20,000 spectators back in the day.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"46898763272\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.static.flickr.com\/7824\/46898763272_7733749c26_c.jpg\" alt=\"Driving to and exploring Durr\u00ebs, Albania blog.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We started our tour down this dark staircase.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"32009855217\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4805\/32009855217_dd8c826bdd_c.jpg\" alt=\"Driving to and exploring Durr\u00ebs, Albania blog.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the 7th century, after it no longer functioned as an amphitheater with gladiators fighting each other and beasts, a Byzantine church was added. Not sure what happened to the dead bodies.
