The wooden panel that will cover the mid-section of the van will be painted to a color similar to the headliner color. That way the inside of the van will look cohesive.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"40798905275\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/946\/40798905275_fd7630a129_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter van build day 15 042318\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But before we start with the walls, we need to work on flooring. I guess I forgot to take a photo of Dan cutting wood but I did take a photo of the pencil he used. Well, we decided to frame out a floor that will sit under all the things we are building in here. That way we don&#8217;t have to drill through the thin factory floor and everything will be removable for the most part. The bed\/storage area and the kitchen cabinets will be attached to this beefier 2&#215;3 pieces of wood plus plywood that will sit on top of it.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"41697807901\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/826\/41697807901_56a47d4d87_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter van build day 15 042318\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Took notes on some measurements so once we cover the 2x3s with plywood, we will still know where to drill.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"41697806691\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/909\/41697806691_970a34a0b7_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter van build day 15 042318\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Time of work on cutting the plywood.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"41697808071\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/826\/41697808071_51742883ff_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter van build day 15 042318\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Before we lay the plywood down, we decided that adding some insulation would be a good idea instead of leaving it empty.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"41697808101\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/863\/41697808101_e42cc1ab44_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter van build day 15 042318\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Looking good.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"40979744834\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/970\/40979744834_3cd5131fa0_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter van build day 15 042318\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We try to finish our day before dinertime in order to have time to blog and vlog at night but our timing didn&#8217;t work out that way today.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"40979745414\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/960\/40979745414_f7ae00c16d_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter van build day 15 042318\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But the sky sure is pretty tonight.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"27829181968\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/957\/27829181968_095ac95b70_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter van build day 15 042318\" \/><\/p>\n<p>OK. It&#8217;s dark so Dan temporarily connected our factory headliner lights with new LED bulbs to the batteries so we van finish up the subfloor. It was a long day but also rewarding. Everything will go up from here.
