The TernOverland windows we ordered need a wall thickness of 24-34mm for them to sit and seal properly. We had a wall thickness of about 20mm.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"40922166874\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/931\/40922166874_74ccde4f4d_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter Van Build Day 12 042018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So this morning we are added to our wooden frame in order to reach that criteria.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"40740908015\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/801\/40740908015_eedd6b4002_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter Van Build Day 12 042018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a close-up of the frame we made. WOOHOO! Such a huge weight off of our shoulders.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"40922164714\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/932\/40922164714_659f1a40dd_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter Van Build Day 12 042018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now it&#8217;s time for the second <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ternoverland.com\/arctic-tern-window\">Arctic Tern window<\/a>. Window hole number two plus some extra cutting for rib removal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"26764681897\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/925\/26764681897_55ecb56536_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter Van Build Day 12 042018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now that the hole is cut&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"27763779348\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/927\/27763779348_f6954922b2_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter Van Build Day 12 042018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230; I can help by painting the exposed metal&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"27763779508\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/850\/27763779508_7861fa9aba_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter Van Build Day 12 042018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;with some paint made for metal.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"26764681057\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/833\/26764681057_24ce013636_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter Van Build Day 12 042018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now that the window is installed and leak tested with no issues, we can finish insulating with more polyiso foam board.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"41632765311\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/910\/41632765311_2e139879e7_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter Van Build Day 12 042018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And with a layer of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2F7kbVq\">Refectix<\/a> too.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"27763780338\" src=\"https:\/\/farm1.static.flickr.com\/923\/27763780338_d723f9f5a1_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sprinter Van Build Day 12 042018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then we installed the blind\/screen assembly. I&#8217;m not too sure about the durability of the built-in blind with three kids. Not so much.
