\"Arizona<\/a><\/p>\n

Writing a post from the road is a lot harder than it looks.<\/p>\n

State parks have yet to hear of a little invention called wi-fi. Dan just put on The Life Aquatic and is blasting the sound through the speaker above my right ear and it hurts a bit. The Two Buck Chuck is flowing. Our friend Carrie just got Dan to admit that he had an actual moment when he knew I was \u2018the one\u2019. What the hell. Why hasn\u2019t he shared this info with me before? What the hell. Oh ,and Ava is finally asleep in a toddler tent on top of our bed after singing the ABCs for a good ten minutes\u2026 and I don\u2019t think she\u2019ll roll off of the bed\u2026 but it\u2019s the back of my head and it\u2019s slowing me down too.<\/p>\n

So, yeah. Posts on the road are rough. Wah! Poor me, right? But that\u2019s what this blog is all about\u2026 and I am ready for the challenge.<\/p>\n

Our first day on road was a long driving day, especially for Dan. He did all the driving. We did all the sitting. Ava, Yoda, Carrie and me. All the way to a Phoenix Wal-mart parking lot.<\/p>\n

\"Windmills\"<\/a><\/p>\n

But we did make a couple stops here and there. We spent a few hours in Palm Springs. Enjoyed windmills and some super delicious Happy Hour food at the Cheesecake factory. Yes, we had a baby in a bar. Shame on us.<\/p>\n

After hours and hours, we finally made it a Wal-mart parking lot. We never know where to park when we get to one. There are no signs as far as we know. We just try to find the other RVers and park sorta near them. But the parking lot gave us an icky feeling so we left. The good thing about being in a large metro area is that there are twenty Wal-marts in two miles radius. So we picked up and drove to the next one. Bingo. Much better. It\u2019s 1:30am California Time. 2:30am Arizona Time. Time for bed.<\/p>\n

Dan is outside putting the legs of the Airsteam down, or whatever they are called. Carrie is occupying Ava at the dining room table with one of my magazines. God bless her kind heart. I am trying to find Ava\u2019s new air mattress so we can all get to sleep. So after fiddling with the air pump for a few minutes, the mattress starts getting filled up. And up. And up. And up. Until it no longer fits in the walkway. Yes, I said\u2026 NO LONGER FITS IN THE WALKWAY. That cap lock yelling was for Dan, not you.\u00a0<\/em>So that post a while back, where we bought this cool new bed for Ava, was a LIE. It should of fit perfectly because Dan measured it. He measured it? Ummm. Liar. Liar. Pants on fire.<\/em> Maybe he measured the width, but sure didn\u2019t measure the length.<\/p>\n

\"Good<\/a><\/p>\n

So, the new fancy bed got shoved in the closet shower and the toddler tent came out. Fine. I didn\u2019t dwell on it.<\/p>\n

Lights out. Time for bed. Time for some peace and quiet and sleepy time.<\/p>\n

*You better watch out. You better not cry. Because Santa Claus is coming to toooooown.*<\/em><\/p>\n

M: Dan, what\u2019s that?
\nD: Ummm, I don\u2019t know. I think it\u2019s coming from the speakers outside of the Wal-mart.
\nM: I feel so old right now. I feel like our next door neighbors are having this crazy party and I should call the cops on them.
\nD: Merry Christmas Wal-mart. And to all, a good night.<\/p>\n
