{"id":10894,"date":"2020-04-06T07:05:01","date_gmt":"2020-04-06T14:05:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/malimish.com\/blog\/?p=10894"},"modified":"2020-10-24T02:27:34","modified_gmt":"2020-10-24T09:27:34","slug":"camping-in-dades-gorge-morocco-africa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/malimish.com\/blog\/2020\/04\/06\/camping-in-dades-gorge-morocco-africa\/","title":{"rendered":"Camping in Dades Gorge, Morocco, Africa."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After two long days of driving along Route 704, the single lane dirt road that connects Todra Gorge to Dades Gorge, we finally found pavement again.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49645773302\" alt=\"Dades Gorge, Morocco, Africa (Camping at Berbere de la Montagne)\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49645773302_10a6cce63a_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is a road that connects the gorges via a regular road but we chose to take the scenic and memorable road.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49645727132\" alt=\"Dades Gorge, Morocco, Africa (Camping at Berbere de la Montagne)\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49645727132_8c74757f94_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once we dropped down off of the dirt road, water and communities began to re-appear.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49645727417\" alt=\"Dades Gorge, Morocco, Africa (Camping at Berbere de la Montagne)\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49645727417_9604af90e8_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As we inched closer to Dades, we saw the landscape change once again.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49644919703\" alt=\"Dades Gorge, Morocco, Africa (Camping at Berbere de la Montagne)\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49644919703_d1823fefaf_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t expect to be amazed by new rock formations today but I sure was. To see this in person was so so beautiful.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49644912353\" alt=\"Dades Gorge, Morocco, Africa (Camping at Berbere de la Montagne)\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49644912353_375182bf61_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We decided to spend a couple nights camping at a campground called Berbere De La Montagne insideof Dades Gorge.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49645444901\" alt=\"Dades Gorge, Morocco, Africa (Camping at Berbere de la Montagne)\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49645444901_ea5d36e3fb_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49645766857\" alt=\"Dades Gorge, Morocco, Africa (Camping at Berbere de la Montagne)\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49645766857_3243042896_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The campground hotel immediately invited us inside for tea and snacks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49645440001\" alt=\"Dades Gorge, Morocco, Africa (Camping at Berbere de la Montagne)\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49645440001_86c6ae46b4_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Luka is loving this Moroccan tea tradition. Mila is here for the sugar cubes. The reason we opted for electricity is so we can use our portable induction stove to boil water for drinking.
