Actually all of western Europe for the most part based on the van groups we follow on Facebook and individuals on YouTube. So with our van tucked away at a paid campground that felt safe, we hopped onto a train headed for the center of Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49459516447\" alt=\"Barcelona Spain city blog\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49459516447_7a41f8f94f_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our first stop was to see Sagrada Familia.It&#8217;s a basilica that began in the 1800s and is still not complete. One of the many examples of <span>Antoni Gaud\u00ed that we saw today. He is actually buried inside of the church.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49458810843\" alt=\"Barcelona Spain city blog\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49458810843_d1396fe466_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We decided against visiting the inside of the church due to cost. Maybe next time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49458810518\" alt=\"Barcelona Spain city blog\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49458810518_89704deb96_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We continued our walking tour by heading towards the Arc de Triomf.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49459496572\" alt=\"Barcelona Spain city blog\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49459496572_53be3fd2bd_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our friends Conan and Cali, otherwise known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/wanomads\/\">@wanomads<\/a> on IG, are taking a little traveling break in Barcelona and we got to hang out together all day. So good. Not as sweet as we were expecting which allowed us to eat more of it. He&#8217;s done really well walking all over Europe. No complaints. Today we pushed his little legs too far.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49459281881\" alt=\"Barcelona Spain city blog\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49459281881_783f685a22_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So we sat down and ordered some drinks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49459527587\" alt=\"Barcelona Spain city blog\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49459527587_e01b847cae_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One things I hate about Europe? Sodas are expensive at the cafes. More than beer. Luckily we don&#8217;t let our kids order them too much. It&#8217;s a special treat for them.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49458810613\" alt=\"Barcelona Spain city blog\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49458810613_8b98ee6fd8_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And speaking of special treats, I walked into my favorite store today too.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49458772788\" alt=\"Barcelona Spain city blog\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49458772788_fceb34977d_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Treated myself to a couple sale items. Havent bought myself any clothes since being in Europe for the past 1.5 years.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49459282581\" alt=\"Barcelona Spain city blog\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49459282581_9a022f571b_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another peek at Gaudi&#8217;s work.
