Thought we would have put in more miles yesterday but nope. We took it slow and parked at a beach in Split overnight. No one bothered us there. It was basically just us and a few others walking their dogs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039665316\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039665316_ace453d164_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A peek inside of our van in the morning. Coffee, yogurt and granola for breakfast today.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039694062\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039694062_850835540c_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039672336\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039672336_0342047547_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Before we hit the road today, the kids asked for 10 kuna each to jump around the trampoline park. The attendant didn&#8217;t care how long they were in there for so they jumped their hearts out.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49038973958\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49038973958_0043beed06_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>While we prep the van for driving mode, the kids sit on the concrete barrier outside and read some books.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039663396\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039663396_a9d41995c8_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039905022\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039905022_7807d7b000_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Luka&#8217;s reading is getting better and better every day. Ava&#8217;s proud of him. We all are.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49038972053\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49038972053_6025735210_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Good job, little man with squishy cheeks.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039034323\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039034323_1218ff39a0_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mila picked me a little yellow flower for behind my ear and now we are officially ready to roll.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039540171\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039540171_bd8e272ff7_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a large gravel lot at the entrance of Krka National Park where we were planning on spending a few nights.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039879747\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039879747_8c73789216_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Even though it doesn&#8217;t look like it at the moment, there is a storm headed our way in a few hours and it&#8217;s supposed to linger for a few days.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039907217\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039907217_0f46e50c37_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So we opted for a small campsite behind a hotel instead. It was only $10 a night off-season and since the weather is about to get crappy, it will be nice to not worry about charging our laptops for work. Also, hot showers and free laundry!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039035098\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039035098_6a47fa1d62_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Dan pulling our new <a href=\"https:\/\/malimish.com\/gear\/\">Dometic awning<\/a> out to get ahead of the rain sprinkles.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"49039159613\" alt=\"Krka National Park, Croatia\" src=\"https:\/\/farm66.static.flickr.com\/65535\/49039159613_c2d2307137_c.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And after lugging these little twinkling lights all over Europe, we finally hung them up today. A year&#8217;s not a long time, is it?!?! Haha.
