Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011Can’t wait for Christmas…
Friday, December 24th, 2010We can NOT wait for Christmas. Why, you ask? Well we have a week long trip planned as soon as it’s over.

And Mila can’t wait for Christmas either. But for a different reason. She is ready to say good riddance good-bye to Santa. Hehe.

Happy Holidays,
The Mali Mish

Happy Thanksgiving.
Thursday, November 25th, 2010I am thankful for lots of things in my life (like our awesome cross country road trip that I miss like freakin’ crazy!) but I am the most thankful for these two sweet girls.

Mila is thankful for her favorite book in the whole wide world.

And for dirty YMCA shower curtains too.

Ava is thankful for pine cone turkeys.

And apparently, food too! LOL.

the end,
marlene
Where the hell did we go?
Tuesday, September 7th, 2010I feel like I need to first apologize to the loyal readers of the blog for our recent vanishing act. Maybe you guys thought that we loved Albuquerque so much that we decided to settle here for awhile. The reality is that we made our way home to California a week after we left Albuquerque and have just been overwhelmed with static life. Everything seems so much more complicated when you live in a house. Our house is not big by any means at around 900 square feet. But when compared to our 25 foot Airstream, it is a mansion. So many more places to clean, so much more space for the girls to drop their toys and so much harder to keep everything tidy. By now we are already dreaming of another extended trip which should be not far in our future.
Happy Father’s Day!!!
Sunday, June 20th, 2010Sorry to have worried some of you.
Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010I know we haven’t been blogging for the last few days and some of you have worried about us. I just wanted to let you guys know that we are safe and sound. We spent just short of a week in Oklahoma with some old friends up at a beautiful lake for Memorial day weekend without Internet. It was both liberating and confining at the same time to be offline for so long. Being in the middle of tornado and hail season, we spent a couple of long traveling days getting out of there and have now made it to New Mexico. We will try to catch up on our posts to let you guys know about some of the great places we visited along America’s Bible Belt.
By the way, check out this video of a hail storm hitting Oklahoma City on May 16th 2010. If we got there a week earlier we would have been right in it. Make sure you watch until 0:53 when it really gets crazy.
