Dan,
I sure am enjoying the adventures of the Lin clan across the country, especially the Great Lakes region as I have never been there before. I had a thought today...your love for and consumption of hamburgers is amazing. Angela and I have decided to bestow upon you the nickname of "Wimpy", after the character in the Popeye cartoons (he used to say "I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today"). This is not meant to be insulting as we both are hamburger enthusiasts ourselves, but as an honorarium. When we were in South Africa there was actually a hamburger restaurant chain called "Wimpy's", and we ate there several times. ;)
Drive safe and keep up the "burger reviews"!

If you don't have time to get to Bell's Brewery I know it's widely available throughout the state and one of their best known beer's is Oberon (with a big orange label and a sun on it) is AMAZING and very palatable for many tastes (so basically both you and Marlene should like it!)

@Krista We didn't even actually spend more than a couple of hours in Kalamazoo. Just a meal and we headed north for the night in Walmart in Plainwell. I wish I would have know about Bells!

@Boyink We are very glad we got to spend some time in Michigan. Knowing that all these great places we have seen are here, we would have been very regretful of we missed it.
