Did crazy horse and mt rushmore today and we didn’t miss out on the ice cream! The girls loved it. Didn’t have a chance to do custer or wind caves. Both sounded cool. We are headed to badlands tomorrow. As you can tell, we are a bit behind on the blog.

My family lives in Rapid City and we visit a couple of times of year. We LOVE exploring the Black Hills. Deadwood has always been disappointing to me because I’m not really into the gambling scene, but we love Custer State Park, especially Sylvan Lake! There are a lot of family friendly activities in the area, perfect for your kids…and don’t miss the giant ice-cream cones at Mt. Rushmore :)

It’s close to town and a place to sleep. That’s about it.
