hi Clarke, we are supposedly at a 30amp plug and it should be able to handle it. It didn't start happening until we moved to this site yesterday so I am wondering if this power unit at the site is defective. I'll try turning the charger off to if it helps. Thanks for the tip!

I'm not sure how many amps you are plugged into (20, 30, or 50), but sometimes we forget that the battery charger/converter is drawing either a lot amps.....maybe up to 10, depending on the condition of your batteries, or a few amps and if you are on a 15, or 20amp outlet the extra power used by the charger can put you over limit. For instance, we are currently plugged into a 15amp outlet at a friend's home and I had to unplug the charger so as not to draw too many amps with the A/C on....the A/C draws 10-11amp all by itself, and if your charger is drawing 5-6 amps you're toast....figuratively.
